Requirements: Required skills Work Experience General - Three (3) years within the last five (5) years of experience in an environment of significant ADP systems development activity for administrative and business related computer systems applications development and analysis. Specialized - One year within the past (2) calendar years of intensive and progressive experience in the design and development of AIS applications using current versions of Oracle Designer/Developer products. Please note that General and Specialist Work Experience may be earned concurrently. Educational Requirements - The minimum education requirements are a 4-year bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a curriculum or major field of study which either (1) provides substantial knowledge useful in managing large, complex Automated Information System (AIS) projects, (2) is closely related to the work to be automated, or (3) is in Computer Science, a physical science or a mathematics-intensive discipline. Directly related non-degree college-level study may be substituted for general experience (unless otherwise indicated in the skill category description) at a rate of one (1) year of study for six (6) months of experience. No more than four (4) years of non-degree study may be substituted for experience. Completion of a four (4) year related college degree may be used to substitute for up to three (3) years of general experience. Three years of recent (within the last five (5) years) specific NETPDTC systems knowledge experience may be substituted for the four year degree educational requirement. Specific Job Description The Analyst/Developer performs systems analysis, design, integration, programming, documentation and implementation of applications that are administrative or business oriented in nature using current site installed versions of Oracle's Designer/ Developer products. Participates in all phases of software development with emphasis on the integration, programming, testing, documentation and acceptance phases. Applies Oracle Designer business and data modeling principles and methods to technical problems to arrive at automated solutions. Refines and customizes Designer generated products such as forms, reports, SQL and PL/SQL procedures to meet AIS requirements using the Oracle Developer products. May have responsibility for assisting in configuration and installation of current versions of Oracle Designer/Developer products on developer microcomputer configurations. Standard Job Description Applies functional knowledge to the design and customization of SAP or PeopleSoft client/server application to meet the company's requirements and systems needs. Understands content, processes, and procedures associated with implementing enterprise applications. Writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and works with production issues. Works with developers to ensure requirements are being met. At higher levels, serves as subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with implementing enterprise applications. Security Clearance Public Trust Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. .
