Responsibilities: The Senior Interactive Designer will be responsible for leading the User interaction/experience of the Upper Deck family of websites and will work with a team of web designers, developers, project managers, and QA to define and implement exciting and dynamic sites that are based on the latest technologies. This position requires hands-on development of creative design, wireframing, information architecture, and front-end coding, and should know what technologies to use for specific situations, but also when not to force it. We are a fast based, dynamic company that relies on the talent and creativity of our team members to stay on the bleeding edge of the web. We want a person that is passionate about creating engaging user experiences for our customers and has a good pulse of whatsœnext. Requirements: . BA/BS in related field (design, computer graphics, information architecture, etc.) or equivalent experience 5 years experience in agency or with consumer facing development for heavily trafficked sites. Outstanding on-line portfolio REQUIRED Very Strong design skills with an outstanding portfolio required; Award winning projects preferred Expert Level XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX Intermediate to Expert Level Flash and AS 3.0 skill set with online samples Proven track record of taking web projects from concept to deployment Expert knowledge of Adobe CS4 and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Visio) A strong understanding of user interface design process and methodology, particularly as applied to web-based applications An ability to organize and deliver multiple design elements of complex, large-scope web projects..
