Requirements: Required skills The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the C-130J aircraft systems, including interfaces (mechanical, electrical, and software). The candidate will be capable of assessing the impact of system changes on aircraft performance. The ideal candidate will also be familiar enough with the various subsystems required for aircraft operations to respond to day to day inquiries and coordinate technical help from the Marietta engineering team. Desired skills Familiarity with C-130J drawing system and part structure. A solid understanding of the C-130J maintenance and engineering procedures, organizations and policies is a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to cultivate and develop effective relationships. Hands-on aircraft operational, maintenance, and/or modification experience also desirable. Specific Job Description Performs on-site technical coordination for C-130J Utilities and Subsystems for the Canada In-Service Support (ISS) contract. After an initial training period in Marietta, GA, this position is intended to be on-site through 2013 at Canadian Forces Base Trenton in Trenton, Ontario (approx 2 hrs east of Toronto). Systems supported include Hydraulics, ECS, Fuel, Landing Gear, Propulsion, and others. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, development of working relationships, procedures and processes, response to technical inquiries (by direct knowledge, research of existing manuals, and/or inquiry from subsystem experts in the Marietta facility), record keeping for inquiries and responses, support or host to various meetings, providing technical assistance in troubleshooting various systems, and review of aircraft incidents. Activities may also include participation in modification planning activities, assessment of airworthiness of modifications, and integration coordination of Sustainment efforts. .
