Responsibilities : This includes installation and maintenance of all web server software, configuration of load balancers, migration of resource and code changes as neededOversee small projects and interact with other departments to ensure completion on timeProvide technical guidance and advice to co-workers and othersDocument processes and procedures of implemented changesReview and evaluate proposals for web-hosting initiatives in the enterpriseStrategic Support of Web Hosting Environment for the EnterpriseProvide input to tactical and strategic plans for the enterprise Web Hosting infrastructure that balances business need, industry best practices, cost, and alignment with corporate direction for the various disciplinesProvide input to the development and establishment of policies and objectives consistent with those of the organization to ensure efficient operations to meet business requirementsCreate and conduct training on web hosting initiatives/standards to other Web Hosting, Technology Services and IT Development personnelCreate and/or evaluate strategic tools for the streamlining of Web Hosting functions and processes. 

Requirements : Completion of Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, Technical Certification, etc. and/or 5 years of experienceStrong IIS 6 and 7 and Windows Server 2003 skills.NET Framework installation and performance tuningExperience in developing and debugging complex ASP.NET web applicationsExperience in developing .NET Windows applications such as console applications or Windows services understanding of SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2 Database clients. As well as basic query syntaxGeneral understanding of TCP/IP networks, HTTP, and DNS technologiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong knowledge of web applications and infrastructureStrong knowledge of distributed systemsExperience in application architecture, design, and development a plus Desired SkillsF5 Load Balancers or other load balancing technologyJava development experienceAdministration of LDAP systems such as IDS, iPlanet, or eDirectoryLinux and Apache experienceHelpful to have some .
