This position is located in Santa Monica, CA.Responsibilities·Be the lead editor in charge of writer training. Includes new-writer initiation and updating existing writers on style guide changes or new site adds.·Work closely with Studio Editors to manage large roster of freelance writers to ensure that monthly deliverables are met.·Regularly review writers work and invite them to be mentored as needed. .

Requirements :·Bachelor degree in journalism, English, communications or related field preferred.·Ten years experience in an editorial environment, with strong writing, editing and reporting background.·Two or more years experience managing editorial groups.·Teaching experience a plus.·Superb written and verbal communication skills.·Experience working with freelancers, making assignments, providing feedback.
