Asset Management, has opportunities in the field of Utility Mapping, as GIS-Data Field Technicians. DRG provides asset management services to a wide range of customers in many regions. Davey is a leader in the tree care, utility line clearing,Utility mapping and forestry consulting industries, throughout the US and Canada. These positions involve activity on utility systems in each respective region. DRG Field Technicians are provided company vehicles. Jobs involve GIS data collection on utility distribution systems. Technicians will be trained on existing jobs prior to assignment on new projects. Projects can last 2-3 months up to two years. Enjoy working outdoors & experience working here and in other regionsSee the USA.

Requirements : High School Diploma and Valid Drivers License & Clean driving record. Experience & college coursework preferred, but not required: Forestry, Electric Utilitiy, and Utility Mapping industries. Working knowledge of computers & GIS preferred; Ability to read and follow maps, operate ATV in rural locations; Ability to work independently and meet production requirements, willing to travel and live at project locations. DRG will provide complete training of specific task needs for the position and facilitate travel & living arrangements.
