Responsibilities and Requirements : The position will perform benchmarking and assurance that environmental systems are leading to continual improvement and sustainability. The facilities covered by this position are generally BP five US Refineries located in Ohio, Indiana, Texas, Washington, and California.Key accountabilities- Facilitate the development and implementation of environmental work processes and systems in Refining, which will lead to improved and sustainable performance. Facilitate consistent compliance practices amongst Refining through systems Assist the sites in developing and reviewing compliance systems and tools to operationalize environmental requirements, including Compliance Tasking System Perform assurance reviews of environmental systems, as requested by the sites Expand communications on Refining environmental management systems through networking and mapping links within BP Coordinate and assist the sites in achieving and maintaining ISO 14001 systems and practices and reports for Refining. Benchmark BP environmental practices with other energy companies on environmental management systems to effect improvements in BP systems Communicate recommendations on environmental management practices to Refining Leadership Lead ECAT to maintain and develop any new work processes consistent with OMS Regulatory forecasting for capital planning Rolling out new regulations Regulatory Interpretations and Guidance Program Assessments Regulatory Workgroups Training Communications Documentation Environmental MOC SPA for Refining for assisting in implementation of Group practices such.
