Responsibilities : Regular Education Assistant 2 / Butternut Creek Elementary School / Temporary until 5/21/10(When completing the application, choose the Instructional Classified role for this position.) Summary:Perform a variety of instructional duties assisting a licensed staff member in the implementation of a specific program for individual students or small groups. Provide secretarial/clerical assistance as needed. Dispense medication per District procedures.

Requirements ::A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent. Two years of post-secondary education or an associates (or higher) degree. Alternatively, a high school diploma or its equivalent and a passing score on a state or local academic assessment that measures knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics, may be required.Ability to work harmoniously with others and to communicate effectively with students, parents and teachersAbility to follow general oral and written instructionsExcellent communication & organizational skillsExperience with teaching Read Naturally & HorizonsFlexible and adaptive to changeHighly Qualified preferred.
