Responsibilities and Requirements : Under the supervision of the Senior Environmental Scientist, the incumbent will be responsible for implementing the Streambed Alteration Agreement program and preparing, tracking, reviewing, editing and commenting on General Plans and other environmental review documents in Solano County. The job duties include review of notifications, evaluation, and preparation of Agreements, environmental review and comment letter preparation. The incumbent will also review, edit, and comment on multi-species planning approaches such as Habitat Conservation Planning. The incumbent will represent the region when working with applicants, State and Federal agencies, local governments, various stakeholders and members of the general public. Desired qualities include knowledge of listed species, riparian systems, environmental review and compliance, DFG policies, and applicable State and Federal laws and regulations and excellent communication skills.
