Responsibilities : Nuclear TheoryPostdoctoral Fellow, Nuclear TheoryThe Nuclear Theory Program at LBNL anticipates having a Postdoctoral Fellow position for the fall of 2010. Topics being pursued by the current members of the group include: High-energy heavy-ion collisions, QCD matter at high temperatures and densities, QCD hard processes in nuclear collisions and jet propagation, transport descriptions at both the partonic and hadronic level and medium modifications of hadronic properties, perturbative QCD and spin physics, nuclear and neutrino astrophysics, and nuclear many body problems. We also support a strong visitor program. Candidates with research interests in any of these areas are particularly encouraged to apply.
