The Information Assurance Operations manufacturing engineering section seeks a Senior MFG Engineer to support the development, enhancement and maintenance of a variety of space products. Will be responsible for supporting manufacturing engineering related activities from producibility through production. Responsibilities include concurrent engineering development, product launch, implementing preferred manufacturing processes, modifying manufacturing plans, optimizing/maintaining process flow information; estimating and tracking production and development costs, assessing and mitigating potential manufacturing risks; and resolving day to day manufacturing related problems.

Requirements :BS Degree in a technical field related to manufacturing 5 years of demonstrated results, or equivalent experience. Works as individual technical contributor, or as leader of a small design or test team. Performs detailed design and test of software, electrical or mechanical subsystems. Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Implements and analyzes manufacturing engineering plans and projects.
