Responsibilities : Analyze consumer trends and competition to identify new product ideas for use in identifying product development and sourcing   opportunities.2.   Develop new product strategy and assortment within assigned categories to enable the definiton of individual product features for the RFQ process.3.   Analyze cost and product opportunities.4.   Analyze and approve prototypes and new product submissions.5.   Identify and manage all steps of new product development cycle, including detailed task management.6.   Complete projects in a cost-effective and timely manner through execution of project implementation timelines and communicating frequently with cross functional departments (merchandising, logistics, brand, data integrity and Asia sourcing). 7.   Manage the home-end processes involved with the sourcing of factories in non-asian countries, including front-line communications with the factories and the translation/interpretation of specifications between buyer and factory.8.   Manage field complaint process for product categories on quality issues to improve products.9.   Responsible for category metrics, savings reporting purchase volume growth10.  Demonstrate a commitment to core values.

Requirements :Bachelor degree in Business Management or related fieldAdvanced degree or coursework in international business preferred4 years in international sourcing, product development or management, or assortment planning within in a retail environment.Ability to use computer software and hardware related to jobProject management, organizational, analytical, and communication (verbal and written) skills.Ability to lead and develop staff.Ability to travel on international basis up to 10% of timeUnderstanding of local country culture and general foreign business processesAbility to communicate in local language beneficialKnowledge of contract negotiation processesAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
