Responsibilities : Support the identification and resolution of SMT / DCA manufacturing quality issues and investigating opportunities for continuous improvement as well as being an active participant in problem-solving teams.Perform equipment and process characterizations and qualifications; complete DOE evaluations; measure, collect, and analyze data; generate reports in EQDMS; create ECN / TECNs to support required product documents such as Bill of Materials, Process Flows, etc.Define and implement specific solutions to technical problems, completing the tasks associated with such projects and writing reports that clearly document the results.Interact regularly with production associates, supervisors, engineers and technicians within different business organizations at MMC.Work with minimal supervision and independently determining both general approaches and specific solutions to technical problems when provided with top-level project details. Assignments are often self-initiated. Determines and pursues course of action necessary to obtain desired results.Maintain technical knowledge current with advancing technology related to hybrid manufacturing equipment, processes, and materials.Understand the CRDM quality system and policies. Plan and integrate into project to ensure compliance to approved processes.

Requirements :BS in Mechanical or related engineering with a solid foundation in SMT / DCA equipment, processes, and materialsof 3 - 5 years of relevant experience with BS degree, minimum 1 - 4 years with MS degree in the medical device or biotechnology industry is preferred. Experience in SMT / DCA manufacturing process development is required.Working knowledge of the automated hybrid manufacturing electronic equipment.
