TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER

We need someone with sales and heat treating or similar metals experience for our Cleveland, Ohio plants or close enough for a short move and willing
to self relocate.



This facility specializes in vacuum heat treating and brazing of aerospace components; Quality system certification includes: Nadcap, AS9100, and
ISO 9001:2000. This challenging hands-on position requires a disciplined, self-starting individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced,
multi-task environment.



Emphasis is placed on servicing established accounts and the development of new business. The successful candidate will focus on planning, developing,
and implementing strategies for generating revenues and assisting with problem solving.



Dominant duty is outside sales servicing existing customer base. Always interested in new business development and diversity with customers.
Territory predominantly local, but do have customers as far as California. 90% of company business is aerospace heat treating or brazing.



This position directly impacts company's quality, service, productivity and profitability. The position reports directly to the Business Development
Manager. Must reside in area. No budget for relocation.



POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

* BS/BA degree or equivalent job-related experience.

* Sales skills and aptitude such as selling a service, understanding market potentials, understanding the competition, building and maintaining
partnerships.

* Technical knowledge and expertise such as principles of heat treating, practical applications, equipment functionality.

* Knowledge of financial understanding such as price negotiation, profit margin, budgeting and managing expenses.

* Leadership skills such as planning and project management, team development, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Travel required.



This position is Salaried Exempt and is Full-time. Salary commensurate with experience. A physical exam, including substance abuse testing is
required.



BOTTOM LINE

1) BS/BA degree or equivalent job-related experience.

2) 2+ years TECHNICAL SALES experience.

3) Technical knowledge in principles of heat treating or very similar metals industry experience.

4) Local to Cleveland or close enough for a short move and willing to self relocate.
