Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required - Experience is preferred Job Description Facilitates the optimal flow and efficiency of the OR Schedule by using systems developed by the Materials Coordinator, for the timely ordering and receiving of supplies and equipment for cases. In collaboration with the Service Leaders, and Supply Technician establishes, monitors and revises the PAR levels. Responsible for the on-line purchase order process, including systems for monitoring for back orders and substitutes. Monitors and corrects any discrepancies in the ordering process (i.e. EOCs, Meditech Numbers etc.) and communicates the changes to the Materials Management Coordinator for correction. End of day report is provided to the Clinical Leader, in collaboration with the Services Leaders regarding the status of supplies or equipment needed for the next day. Appropriately prioritizes responsibilities (e.g. seeks assistance as needed from appropriate resources as necessary, recognizes need for emergency intervention, etc.). Provides thorough, timely, and accurate documentation of all pertinent data, such as Tissue and Implant tracking, maintaining (Recalls, Tissue and Implant Tracking etc.). Contacts Biomedical Engineering for required equipment safety checks, involving new or loaned equipment or when repairs are necessary. Tracks all equipment loaned or out for repair. .
