Responsibilities and Requirements : The position is responsible for the day-to-day support of the distribution centers. include, but are not limited to the following:Participates in short-term planning sessions to implement process improvement within an assigned area. Generally involves using and improving information systems. Documents discussions and agreements.Establishes liaison relationship with business partners in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.Assesses needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analysing, documenting, and managing changes) to identify business priorities and advise on options.Provides factual content to feasibility studies for standard development projects and enhancements.Develops, writes, and communicates requirements for the implementation of business solutions. Procures technical assistance to help in problem resolution.Develops user test cases and validates test results during user acceptance testing.Investigates, resolves and escalates problems. Analyzes metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.Promotes an understanding of IT roles, processes and activities to the business units.
