Responsibilities : Save Lives. Fulfill Yours.The American Cancer Society, California Division, a community based, non-profit voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem, has an immediate opening for an experienced fundraiser. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, developing and managing volunteers to plan and implement ACS premiere Relay for Life fundraising events. Working in communities in the Culver City area, youll use your interpersonal and networking skills to identify and nurture volunteer recruitment, community participation and education, business and corporate sponsorships to plan and conduct 4 Relays per year.

Requirements : Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of work and life experience, 2 years leadership role in nonprofit fund raising. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, combined with logistical and tactical skills and experience. Some night and weekend work are required.
