Responsibilities : Reporting to the Group Leader Bioassay/Microbiology, this person will work in a collaborative Research and Development setting to conduct microbial studies for product development work in home care and water purification.This position will be involved in claim substantiation for Home Care products and the assessment of drinking water treatment devices, and new microbial method development.The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to·Deliver research support and expertise inmicrobiology·Support new industry method developmentand novel technologies for application in our research and development efforts·Deliver strong customer support to product development teams.

Requirements :The accomplished individual will possess3 5 years experience in similar settingProficiency with environmental microbiology, and related microbiological techniques (i.e. virology)Expertise with microbial laboratory equipment and novel detection techniquesFive years experience in an research lab with prior experience working with product developmentExperience with microbial method development and validationStrong interpersonal and cross collaborative communication skillsA self organizer and demonstrated leadership in a team oriented environmentThe strong professional will have the following academic credentials.BS or MSin Biology or related field(Microbiology minor encouraged)Amway exceptional benefits package includes: Medical, dental, prescription and vision insurance; 401(K) participation; Profit Sharing; Bonus Eligibility;FitnessCenter; product discounts.
