Responsibilities : On-call outpatient speech-language pathology position to assist with swallow and speech patients. Job Summary: Demonstrates compassion, caring and respect in position. Within the scope of , works to provide individual, safe and efficient high quality care to patients (and assistance to their families and visitors), which includes assessment, intervention, and discharge of infants, toddlers, preschool, elementary and pre-adolescents. Assists in program development, quality assurance and marketing of the service. Works collaboratively with all healthcare and community team members toward the best outcomes for the patient and the organization.

Requirements :Master's Level Degree in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders. License/Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology, or to be engaged in his/her Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required. State of Washington Speech Language Pathology License required. Current CPR certification required. Experience and/or Training: Experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and pediatrics preferred. Experience with adult swallow dysfunction and speech/language rehab is required. Special Skill/Demands: Computer experience preferred.
