Responsibilities : Senior Web Designer needed. The project involves refacing an existing web-based Service application that is used by Internet customers and call center representatives. Refacing mostly entails taking the existing pages and putting them into the style and templates that have already been established for the project. However, there are still a number of pages that require creative design work to determine what the client should do with them. We are looking for someone senior with the experience, track record, and creative ideas to drive vision when needed. This person must be able to pull together multiple ideas from various sources in the organization into mockups that both meet business requirements and are very user friendly. The project is already underway; coming in at this point in the project the person has to be able to work within the design concepts already established. They must be able to walk the fine line between breaking out of the box when necessary while not reinventing the wheel and causing unnecessary rework for the project. They also must be able to present their ideas effectively to multiple levels of the organization and take constructive criticism well. No subcontracting or visa sponsorship is available.

Requirements : Experience in the Adobe design suite, particularly Photoshop Excellent HTML skills, proven in large-scale applications Team player who can work with web designers, Java developers, analysts and business partners Plusses: Good knowledge of Javascript and Flash Java experience and knowledge of AJAX would be highly desirable Please click the button to apply for the job.
