Responsibilities : Occupational Summary: Plan, coordinate, and implement a variety of Annual Fund initiatives, campaigns and donor recognition activities at the Pratt School of Engineering for the purpose of garnering greater financial support from alumni, parents and friends of the School. Work Performed Develop and implement annual fund operating plans to support the school#s strategic educational initiatives through the creation of new and/or enhanced donor retention, acquisition and retrieval activities for growing the donor base comprised of alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff and graduating seniors. Identify appropriate market segments in order to develop innovative annual fund solicitations and or appeals for print, electronic and social media. Provide timely reporting comprised of analytical data tracking participation rates and appeal response. Develop and maintain a portfolio of annual fund leadership donors and prospects to be personally solicited and stewarded for their support to the Pratt School. Oversee the identification, recruitment, training, evaluation and recruitment of class volunteers in both reunion and non-reunion cycles for the purpose of generating greater donor participation and annual fund gift activity. Plan, orchestrate and staff regularly scheduled student led tele-fund sessions. Develop call lists, phone scripts, and incentive/recognition programs for student tele-fund callers. Provide administrative oversight for the school#s donor recognition and stewardship program including gift acknowledgment, gift club management, donor profiles, honor roll development, etc. Prepare special and standing reports to track and analyze current annual fund trends, progress toward goal; and when necessary make appropriate recommendations and adjustments to the operating plan to maximize annual fund donor retention, acquisition and retrieval. Prepare and coordinate the writing, editing and production of development material in support of annual fund appeals via print, electronic or social media.

Requirements :EducationWork requires communications, analytical and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program. ExperienceWork requires three years of experience in alumni affairs, public relations, fund raising, sales and promotions, marketing, student activities or a related field in order to acquire skills necessary to administer, coordinate and/or participate in fund raising activities.
