Responsibilities : We are searching for a New Media Content Coordinator. The position reports into the new media department, closely working with product managers and marketing staff. Main job function is creating and scheduling written and video content, updating and keeping current all company and artist web properties, scheduling content for rollout worldwide and assisting in creation of graphical assets and copy for email marketing. The content editor will also be an integral part of the New Media team, contributing to strategic discussions, development planning and web marketing.Knowledge and proclivity for rock & metal music is preferred. lude:- pitch compelling article and video ideas for use on our website including interviews, reviews, and editorial- write compelling copy and headlines for same- update web site (news posts, blog entries, photos, video, music, media descriptions)- update third-party sites (MySpace, Facebook, imeem, etc.)- schedule rollout of assets on all properties- partake in user discussions via the web site- report on usage and response to all assets- partake in weekly strategic discussions and updates- liase with marketing, new media, A&R, production departments to set and adhere to deadlines.

Requirements : 2 years web marketing experience- intimate knowledge of creating and managing workable assets- light HTML, PhotoShop, and video/audio encoding/editing (more advanced skills are great!)- excellent writing, proofreading and grammar skills- collaborative attitude and ability to cooperatively establish interpersonal relationships that extend into all areas of company as well as artists- creativity and resourcefullness.
