Responsibilities : The Space and Geospatial Business Unit of currently has an opportunity for a Sr. Spacecraft Avionics Engineerlocated in El Segundo Candidate without clearance will not be considered. Perform the following activities on Delivery Order in support of the SMC Independent Readiness Review Team (IRRT). 1. Identify and resolve avionics related risk items on space systems and/or launch vehicles for SMC missions. 2. Coordinate tasks with technical panel leads and system leads. 3. Generate weekly status charts/reports. 4. Develop and present IRRT mission risk assessments.

Requirements :-Bachelor's degree in EE or equivalent discipline and 10 years of related experience. -Excellent communication and writing skills are essential. -Requires current DoD security clearance. -Experience in design, development, manufacture and test of major space and/or launch subsystems is essential. Advanced degree in a related technical area. Experience as a member of a team involved in space systems mission assurance activities.
