Responsibilities : Ability to culture primary mammalian cells and stem cells and to develop newCell culture related products for research applications. Independently initiate, direct andexecute scientific research. Independently plans and designs experimental methods toachieve technical objectives. Identifies and solves problems in experimental designs.Maintain general cell culture laboratory.Key skills/abilities include:Solid technical experience, including sterile technique.Experience in tissue isolation, cell culture, and/or media development.Time management skills and ability to work independently and collaborate with othersrequired.Organizational skills, including the ability to efficiently evaluate, prioritize and handlemultiple and changing projects and priorities.Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interpret and summarizescientific results in a clear, concise, accurate manner.

Requirements :Ph.D. degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or other related discipline, or theequivalent knowledge and experience.Experience gained through obtaining a Ph.D. degree; Bachelors degree with 8 to 10years of experience; or Master's degree with 4 plus years experience.Working Conditions:Works in a laboratory environment. Is required to lift up to 40 lbs. May be required tostand for long periods of time while performing duties. Must be able to work safely withchemicals and hazardous materials. Must be available for flexible work schedule.
