Responsibilities : As Regulatory Manager, you will work with our Regional Regulatory Manager on the planning, development and implementation of environmental, health and safety programs. You will provide expertise and be responsible for compliance with federal, state and local regulations that affect our operations. Specific responsibilities will include: Manages environmental, health, and safety compliance Develops and implements training for environmental, health and compliance Manages consultants on regulatory projects Participates in facility audits Provides expertise in environmental, health and safety matters Obtains, maintains, or cancels safety and environmental permits Participates in accident/incident investigations and corresponding corrective actions Consults on emergency response Primary contact for Notice of Violation orders and enforcement actions Primary liaison with agencies regarding regulatory compliance Acts as a resource for our customers Responsible for waste minimization and pollution prevention Participates in capital project planning Prepares and submits annual reports to federal, state and local Agencies.

Requirements :.:The ideal candidate will have the following: 5 years regulatory or related experience in the chemical distribution or related industry Comprehensive knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations Four-year degree in environmental science or related field, or equivalent work experience High level of decision-making ability, balancing customer, company and regulatory requirements Ability to negotiate with regulatory agencies on compliance issues Air permitting experience is a plus Excellent computer, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
