Responsibilities : Job SummaryManages an underwriting unit usually comprised of two or more units. Manages the selection/denial of new and/or renewal business. Administers and monitors underwriting rules and guideline, rating manual rules, and insurance laws and regulations. May recommend and implement action plans after reviewing agency books of business and profit/growth results and trends. Markets companies' products and services through an agency plant or through the brokerage community. Develops/maintains agency and/or broker relationships. Assures development and implementation of policy, procedures and standards to produce profitable underwriting results. This position is usually responsible for one or more profit centers and reports directly to the next level of management.

Requirements :Bachelors Degree with 8 years of Environmental Underwriting experience and 2 years of management experience.
