Responsibilities : State application;If applicable, employment preference forms ( wsd.dli.mt.gov/service/app.aspTranscripts (accredited and recognized by US Department of Education) are required and may be submitted at any time up until interview; andCopy of current licensure as Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Specialist is due prior to interview.Late or incomplete application materials will be rejected.Duties:This position provides coordination of activities between the Laboratory Services Bureau and Montana local hospital laboratories, public/private environmental laboratories, public/private health care providers, and first responders regarding training on clinical laboratory practice, including pandemic influenza and other communicable diseases, laboratory preparedness, and laboratory safety/security. This position is responsible for managing a portion of laboratory preparedness grant and contracts as needed and all related job duties including seeking/re-establishing grants, managing funding, and working with all interested parties.

Requirements :Bachelor degree in microbiology, biology, chemistry, or other science-related field ANDfive years experience in a high complexity certified laboratory. Internships and other training are notcounted toward years of experience. A license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Specialist is required.
