Responsibilities : This position is responsible for the production of highly complex drawings and technical data using Auto version 2005 or later, Microsoft Office, US Navy specifications and standards, and independently performing highly complex analyses and design of shipboard and shore systems. Candidate will be required to go aboard US Navy and Army vessels/boats/ships to perform ship-checks and red-lines of GFI and other data. Candidate must also be flexible with performing other tasks supporting ship/shore installation and integration products. Candidate will perform other duties as assigned by the Provides supervision and technical direction/guidance to Junior department personnel. Develop drawings, ICDs, cable run sheets, calculations. Perform shipchecks and related efforts. Pursues professional development opportunities to increase job skills and capabilities. Contributes to continuous process improvement efforts as they relate to current job assignment and other improvements throughout the company when identified.

Requirements : Mandatory:HS Diploma or equivalentMust be a US citizenMust have or be eligible for a Secret clearance10 or more years experience in a /drafting environment supporting military or equivalent shipbuilding industryMust be able to handle highly complex tasks uncovering and resolving problems associated with the analysis and development of technical specifications for enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.Must often juggle numerous projects and assignments and continuously reassess priorities to achieve goals and objectives.Must be able to document ideas and present them to peers and customers.
