Responsibilities : This position has no promotion potential. Demonstration Project allows us the flexibility to offer exceptional candidates higher salaries than most other Federal agencies. Additionally, employees are eligible to receive an annual pay increase based upon performance. When a demonstration project employee is selected through competitive procedures to fill another demonstration project position that is at the same pay band as their current position or has no greater pay potential, they may be provided under specific circumstances with a pay increase of up to 5% upon reassignment. When a demonstration project employee is selected through competitive procedures to fill another demonstration project position that has higher pay potential than their current position, their pay generally will be increased by 8% unless a greater increase is necessary to set pay at the minimum rate of the normal range of the higher level pay band. When a Federal employee outside the demonstration project is selected through competitive procedures to fill a higher level position, their pay may be increased by 8% unless a greater increase is necessary to set pay at the minimum rate of the normal range of the pay band.
