Responsibilities : The IT Technical Writer will report to the IT Senior Systems Analyst to assist with the document management, creation, review, editing and maintenance of all technical documentation. Application Help System authoring is an essential job skill. The ability to meet tight deadlines and accurately complete tasks is critical to this position. Expert-level familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications is required. Ability to multi-task and respond to competing deadlines is needed. The IT Technical Writer is responsible for providing excellence in planning, communicating, executing, monitoring and reporting on writing efforts including but not limited to:Provides complex professional technical documentation with proper usage of all Information Technology vocabulary and acronyms.Application Help System content authoringSoftware Development Life Cycle documentation authoring and reviews.Updates and maintenance of SharePoint document repositories and web site contentTimely document reviews and updatesAbility to add clarity and correct grammar without changing the technical intent and meaning of a target documentContributes to IT proposalsWork with clients and consultants in a positive, professional manner.Limited travel to local areas may be required.

Requirements : 6 years experience in Information TechnologyAbility to communicate advanced technical knowledge in customer focused, quality-oriented environment. Ability to clearly and persuasively communicate complex issues.Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), IT Infrastructure and Operations and CMMIMS Office ProficiencyFamiliarity with RoboHelp, MS Office Project, MS SharePoint Portal, HTML coding is a strong plusApplication InformationIf you are interested in applying for this position, please submit resume.
