Responsibilities : Manages a team of residential first or second mortgage underwriters ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Has approval authority for more complex loan requests and exceptions to policy. Has responsibility for operations management including Hoshin goals, load leveling, staffing, coaching and performance management. May help coordinate on-site investor audits.Specific Job Description:Performs fraud surveillance audits on multiple lines of business, utilizing the internal reports and outside vendor systems available. Associate must be capable of examining the loan documentation, analyzing the credit scenarios to determining if they meet bank policy and product guidelines. Provides feedback through reports to management and branch personnel regarding findings. Takes initiative in resolving problems on a branch level. Applies understanding of legal, regulatory, economic, and technological developments to reduce the banks exposure to mortgage fraud.

Requirements :Successful Applicant will have 5 or more years of Production Underwriting/Processing Experience as well as 3 or more years of Quality Assurance ExperienceExperience with multiple channels and a variety of loan typesCritical thinking skills, strong time management skills and an ability to communicate well in written form is required.
