Responsibilities : Identifies, analyzes and documents requirements for network transport technologies and services. Creates and documents designs that conform to architectural and security standards. Prepares, deploys and coordinates installation of implementation packages per Boeing standards. Performs and/or leads the maintenance of network systems. Collects and compiles data for budget planning. Leads and coordinates high level implementation planning for strategic multi-technology insertion projects. Leads and organizes the creation and documentation of network designs. Researches, develops, documents and deploys emerging technologies and techniques. Develops and implements cost control action plans based upon review of internal and sourced infrastructure. Ability to design communications system hardware requirements for incorporation into D drawlings to include understanding RF, Copper, Fiber, and server architecture design requirements.CompetenciesGeneralManaging WorkIdentifies critical and less critical activities and tasks within own and other work groups; adjusts priorities when appropriate. Ensures that required equipment and/or materials are in appropriate locations so that own and others' work can be done effectively. Allocates own time to complete work; coordinates own and others' schedules to avoid conflicts. Takes advantage of available resources .

Requirements :3 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study. Level 4 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
