Responsibilities and Requirements : Immigration Law Internship, Summer 2010Interns interview clients, fill out and file immigration documents, and assist clients in administrative proceedings. Will research and draft briefs and other documents. Research country conditions and support the immigration attorney with pending cases. Conduct outreach for the community and clients, and as time permits, work on public policy advocacy and initiatives.The candidate should be enrolled in law school. Should have excellent research, writing and analytical skills. Commitment to public interest law is needed. Language skills are highly desired, particularly Spanish and French.Application Deadline: January 29, 2010.
