Responsibilities : Primary job duties and responsibilities are to perform manual and automated software testing for Digital Receiver Technology Software releases. Records and tracks defects uncovered during the execution of tests cases. Independently executes test scripts based on planned project schedules. Experience in the development of test cases, writing scripts and test execution is required. Working knowledge of Radio Communication hardware and related test equipments strongly desired. Understanding of wireless protocols (IS-136, IS-95, cdma2000, WCDMA, GSM/EDGE) is a strong plus. Digital Receiver Technology (DRT), based in Germantown, Maryland, designs and manufactures high performance receivers and transceivers for the wireless test, SIGINT, and law enforcement markets. Requirements :2 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 3 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience.
