Responsibilities : Senior Systems Engineer for the Ballistic Missile Defense National Team Systems Boeing Prime Contract, this position is located in Colorado with a geographically distributed team headquartered in Arlington, Virginia with locations in Huntsville, Alabama and Colorado. The Systems Engineer will evaluate existing M&S development plans, evaluating constraints and performance gaps, to develop system-level support plans. Additional responsibilities with include developing and documenting verification approaches to include defining design and requirements verification definitions, processes and procedures. Development of a system-level verification matrix for requirements, in support of evaluation of system functions, behaviors and engagement conditions, with a focus on performance leading to System level performance verification is also included. The engineer will develop and coordinate technical objectives and compliance scenarios to establish system performance criteria under specified critical engagement conditions. Primary tasking will be development of deliverable SE products and plans, evaluation of changes to the baseline, and identifying alternative solutions to maintain technical content and intent.CompetenciesGeneralCollaborationConsistently works effectively and cooperatively with team members and fellow project team leaders, other employees and external customers.

Requirements :Bachelor's 14 or more years' experience, Master's with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Other Job related information requires a current Secret Clearance - US Citizenship or equivalent (Refer to Security Clearance Definitions link above). Applicants MUST include their security clearance level, investigation type and investigation date clearly on their resume. can either be in Huntsville Alabama or in at Schriever AFB, Colorado. Knowledge of SE processes for the development of M&S requirements, evaluation and assessment documentation.
