Responsibilities : This position is covered by the NNSA Demonstration Project. Effective March 16, 2008, NNSA began operating under a Pay Banding and Pay for Performance Demonstration Project in which positions are classified by career path, occupational series, and pay bands (rather than the traditional Schedule grades in the Federal Service). The NQ-04 pay band is equivalent to the GS-15 grade level. This position has no promotion potential. NNSA's Demonstration Project allows us the flexibility to offer exceptional candidates higher salaries than most other Federal agencies. Additionally, employees are eligible to receive an annual pay increase based upon performance. When an NNSA demonstration project employee is selected through competitive procedures to fill another demonstration project position that is at the same pay band as their current position or has no greater pay potential, they may be provided under specific circumstances with a pay increase of up to 5% upon reassignment. When a NNSA demonstration project employee is selected through competitive procedures to fill another demonstration project position that is at a higher pay band than their current position, their pay generally will be increased by 8% unless a greater increase is necessary to set pay at the minimum rate of the normal range of the higher pay band. When a Federal employee outside the demonstration project is selected through competitive procedures to fill a higher level position, their pay may be increased by 8% unless a greater increase is necessary to set pay at the minimum rate of the normal range of the pay band.

Requirements :Must be U.S. Citizen.This is a professional series; Must be bar certified and in good standing. is subject to drug testing.Must be able to obtain a Q level security clearance.Permanent Change of Station (PCS) expenses will not be paid.
