Responsibilities : Responsible for engineering, production, and test of high reliability microwave and millimeterwave electronics. Act as a team leader working with manufacturing, test, customers, teaming partners and suppliers. Activities are performed in accordance with organization and program standards and procedures. Work according to established guidelines. Apply professional technical skills and the related concepts, practices, and methods under supervision to produce plans, recommendations, and production hardware. Develop test methods, routines, test hardware used for test of high-power millimeterwave components and microwave electronics. Create test plans and procedures, and train others in applied millimeterwave test methods. Prepare and present project status and issues to program management and to customers.CompetenciesGeneralCommunicationClarifies purpose and importance; stresses major points; follows a logical sequence. Requirements :Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Other Job related informationFour or more years experience desired in production and test of millimeterwave-based devices, Impact Avalanche Transit Time (Impatt) amplifiers, and other high-power components. High level of expertise in high-power microwave and millimeterwave test methods. Hands-on knowledge of operation of limiters, filters, equalizers and waveguide components at frequencies above 40 Gigahertz (GHz). Please note that depending on the specific position, you may be required to pass additional medical tests, credit checks, and/or other requirements.
