Responsibilities and Requirements : Work under the direction of a senior manufacturing engineer to develop manufacturing processes that achieve maximum process and cost efficiency while achieving performance and quality standards.Analyzes and plans work for utilization, work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout for the facilities for maximum efficiency.1.Maintains process documentation and methods for manufacturing utilizing MRP system.2.Applies value engineering techniques to reduce manufacturing cost of existing products.3.Provides alternative manufacturing or design options utilizing DMAIC methods that ensure intended performance, quality, schedule and cost4.Develop layouts for assembly areas implementing 5S and Lean Methods.5.Other duties as assigned. A junior-level standing in an accredited engineering program.
