Responsibilities : Provide leadership and assistance in the day-to-day management and operations of the Environmental, Health and Safety programs at the Etowah facility. Develop and coordinate site safety and health programs, objectives, and training programs to implement the goals set for the facility. Monitor manufacturing operations, laboratories, maintenance, and administrative groups to provide technical support ensuring that any changes will be done in compliance with all applicable Local, State, and Federal regulations.Principal Duties and 1. Ensures compliance with all Huber safety, health and environmental policies and governmental regulations through Human Resources and the Manager as well as ensures compliance activities are conducted (all inspections, measurements, monitoring, recording, recordkeeping, reporting, and training).2. Ensures all operations at the facility comply with Local, State and Federal environmental, health and safety regulations by providing technical support and information to site personnel; identifying training shortcomings and needs and developing relevant training programs; developing and implementing process hazard reviews and analyses and implementing appropriate solutions to mitigate the hazards identified. Work with operations and perform a job safety analysis for each SOP.3. Takes proactive measures to safeguard personnel and assets of the facility by periodically auditing work practices and injury records to identify worker safety and health improvement opportunities; monitoring lost-time injuries and illnesses; conducting and reviewing safety committee meetings, safety inspection reports, and injury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports.

Requirements : 2 to 4 years preferred.3. Recognized leader.4. Demonstrate Project Management skills.5. Possess people-influencing skills.6. Good facilitator.7. Good Communicator.8. Capable of developing and giving training.9. Proficient in using PC based software such as MS Office and other applications to develop and maintain documents, spreadsheets, and data bases.10. Ability to work with other people effectively to enlist cooperation and assistance in implementing regulatory requirements and improvements.
