Responsibilities and Requirements : InternshipsInterns assist in policy, communications, and development work while contributing to daily office operations. Qualified candidates must be able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment. Ability to complete tasks with limited instruction needed. Excellent writing, editing and research skills needed. Computer skills (MS Office, preferably with some knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Internet search techniques, and some familiarity with Lexis-Nexis or Westlaw) needed. Some familiarity with issues relating to criminal justice reform and/or capital punishment needed. Law school students considered.Note: Candidates should be able to work at least 40 hours a week for a minimum of approximately three months.
