Responsibilities : Entry level position. Performs routine and non-routine microbiological identification, on-site finished product and component tests and environmental monitoring according to established Standard Operating Procedures and Specifications in a current Good Manufacturing Practices environment . Participates in new procedures and conducts calibrations/validation studies as they pertain to microbiology. Work is technical and specialized, requiring accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements :Bachelors Degree is required understanding of microbiology Knowledge of aseptic technique First shift position Clear understanding of oral/technical English and position Successful candidate may not be Color blind Must be able to lift 35 lbs.Additional Eligibility GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.Desired CharacteristicsPrevious experience handling radioactive materials Bachelor degree in Microbiology Experience with aseptic manufacturing Experience with environmental monitoring and sterility/LAL testing Technical writing.
