Responsibilities : A non-profit organization and the primary resource for blood collection and transfusion medicine services in the greater Chicagoland area. It is LifeSource's mission to provide a safe and adequate supply of blood and blood products for the entire community.The Compliance Specialist will help to execute the company's corporate compliance program. This position will be responsible for organizing and maintaining compliance records and reports; identifying training needs and solutions; evaluate company policies, policies and processes for compliance impact; investigate any reported or identified compliance concerns; and work with the Director of Corporate Compliance to provide recommendations related to compliance specific issues. Qualified candidates will have the ability to manage and assist with the operations of the Compliance Hotline System; collaborate with departments and management to prioritize and address concerns; and maintain a database to include confidentiality, non-disclosure, and business associate aggreements as required.Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.

Requirements :A minimum of 2 to 4 years experience in healthcare industry preferred. Proficient in multiple software programs including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook. Proficient internet research a plus. Must possess excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written/oral communications skills. To perform this job successfully must be able to demonstrate integrity, sound judgement, and make effective decisions.
