Responsibilities : The Principal Compliance Specialist will support implementing and monitoring CRDM ethics and compliance program primarily related to business practices involving healthcare providers. The ethics and compliance program is modeled after the federal compliance and ethics program standards set out in the United States Sentencing Guidelines for Organizations and includes various anti-kickback laws, regulations and guideances; the Medtronic Code of Conduct and Business Conduct Standards; and CRDM policies and procedures.The Principal Compliance Specialist will act in concert with the VP for Ethics and Compliance in a variety of initiatives and program functions. This will include close collaboration and partnership with the Medtronic corporate Office of Ethics and Compliance. This position requires outstanding written and oral communication skills, the ability to work independently with a high level of productivity, familiarity with the current enforcement environment and the ability to work effectively with business partners across CRDM legal, sales, marketing, research and other functions as well as partners within the corporate Office of Ethics and Compliance and the ethics and compliance programs in other Medtronic business units.

Requirements : Bachelors Degree 8 years of related experience that crossed business functions 3 years of project management Experience in corporate ethics and compliance or legal compliance Experience with MS Office Suite programsDesired/Preferred Experience in compliance monitoring and auditing or experience monitoring compliance with anti-kickback regulations and industry codes of conduct. This can be from various functional backgrounds. Advanced training in job-relevant discipline Knowledge of the Medtronic organizational structure and familiarity with legal compliance requirements, particularly relating to the sales function Experience working in and leading teams in a matrixed environment Ability to write and communicate complex issues succinctly and in an easily understandable way Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with an array of business functions, individually or as part of a team. Proven ability to drive and champion organizational change programs.
