Responsibilities : The job responsibilities are to become a member of a small team responsible for the review of charges for patients involved in research protocols. Review MCA and compare to documentation in notes to determine appropriate use of modifiers and diagnoses. This is a production environment which will focus on producing large volumes of work on timeline to ensure that we have released charges prior to claim submission deadlines. Will require an individual that understands medical records and is knowledgeable in excel. Ability to use business systems like GE Centricity a plus.

Requirements :Bachelors degree with a minimum of 2 years of health care administrative experience working with regulatory/clinical issues, or the equivalent required.Must possess strong communication skills, as well as an understanding of Federal and State regulations and healthcare billing.An understanding of business internal control concepts and theory required.The ability to deal and work with details required.Knowledge of personal computing required.
