Position Details
The SAP Basis Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining the overall technical and NetWeaver architecture for the Solutions SAP systems consistent with our client’s policies. Responsible for providing leadership and management of all technical activities including but not limited to: System installation, System Change Management, Performance Monitoring, Performance Tuning, Transport Management, Data Management, Data Archiving, System Administration & Monitoring, User administration, Security, Development and Testing, Troubleshooting, Problem Analysis and Problem Resolution. Able to work in a fast-paced 24x7 environment.


Requirements
Experience in upgrades including SAP ECC, ITS, NetWeaver, SAP Portal, Business Warehouse, and related SAP modules.
* Expertise in SAP, ECC, CE, BI, EBP, MI Installation Planning, Software Installation, Support Packs, and Upgrades on latest NW stack
* Past experience and strong understanding with integration of components NW PI, BI, EP, CE, APO, WAS.

Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Computer Science / MIS from an accredited university
* Minimum of 6 * 8 years of strong hands on technical experience with SAP, including SAP Basis Administration, in a large-sized environment with at least 3 years in a lead technical role
* 2 Full Life Cycle implementations, preferably with Global Template/Rollout Methodology
* Proven experience in SAP performance and availability monitoring
* Advanced knowledge and experience in SAP security (including creating and managing SAP Security roles, profiles. SSO, and SNC configuration. etc)
* Certifications in SAP Basis Administration and Oracle DBA
* Experience designing and utilizing service-oriented architectures (SOA
* 5 * 7 years Oracle Database administration experience
* Very strong technical skills in Unix (HP-UX 11.3) and ORACLE Database. Expertise in handling application related issues at the OS level in Unix (HP-UX 11.3)
* Multiple installs and support on SAP systems with Oracle DB
* SAP technical architecture skills
* Excellent working knowledge of the operating system (windows or UNIX) and database in use (Platform, OS & DBA focus).
* SOA background/experience
* EDI IDO background/experience
* Experience with Websphere integration technologies
* Eclipse-based development background
* Experience developing and enforcing standards: Technical architecture, environment, etc.
* Experience leading and managing others
* Candidate must have 5 years of business experience in a systems development and implementation role and have a track record of successful implementations with increasing project scopes.
* Candidate must be well organized and capable of juggling numerous priorities.
* Additional 5+ years of general IT experience, preferably in a business-facing role
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement customer-focused processes & procedures
* Excellent people skills with ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
