Responsibilities: Responsible for advising Pharmacy Technician on order fulfillment and related duties. Responsible for implementing inventory control procedures and ordering merchandise within regulatory guidelines. Responsible for scheduling technical staff in pharmacy. Maintains proper stock levels of drugs, supplies, solutions, forms, etc. Selects correct doses of medications and places medications in patients' bins according to the patients' medication profile. Returns discharge medications to correct location in a timely manner. Prepares, labels and delivers I.V. preparations according to departmental policies and within established time frames. Responsible for proper operation of equipment and appropriate documentation of records. Responsible for accurate filling of Pyxis machines, placing medication in the correct location in a neat, precise manner without overfilling the pocket. Responsible for timely and correct delivery of medications to patient care areas according to departmental schedules. Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling that accommodates the requirements of the departments scheduling needs. Qualifications High school diploma. Minimum multiple years pharmacy experience with a training in vendor relations. Previous lead experience preferred. .
