Position Details
The Vice President of Pharmacy Compliance will primarily oversee the successful management of the Corporate Compliance Program and provide strategic oversight across Pharmacy Operations. This role is also responsible for the identification of regulatory compliance issues and compliance with applicable State and Federal Laws.
Essential Functions Include:
- Ensure each site is thoroughly prepared to participate in all required regulatory compliance audits. Also responsible for timely response to all audit findings and/or compliance program recommendations.
- Strategically coordinate the development and effective implementation of all pharmacy compliance program regulations at each site operation
- Lead strategic development, alignment and implementation of pharmacy compliance regulations across Pharmacy Operations
- Direct pharmacy compliance related investigations in coordination with the Chief Compliance Officer and ensure appropriate measures are taken to prevent future incidents from occurring
- Provide advice to site leadership regarding regulatory pharmacy compliance practices that impact the business on a regular basis
- Ensure all regulatory pharmacy compliance training requirements are met as appropriate.

Qualifications
B.S. Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree is required.
License to practice pharmacy in Missouri, additional states preferred.
Uncompromised personal integrity and commitment to safe, lawful and ethical pharmacy practice.
5 years of pharmacy practice experience, including sterile compounding experience.
10 years management experience in an operations setting including responsibility for budget development and compliance is required.
Working knowledge of the PBM and health care industry is required.
Demonstrated ability to lead, oversee, and motivate cross-functional teams in a complex corporate environment.
Strong organizational, communication (written, oral, and presentation) and PC skills are required.
Demonstrated ability to set and then motivate a large, multi-layered organization to meet challenging high quality and service standards.
Proven track record in managing successfully in a highly visible, highly regulated compliance environment ss required.
Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels is essential in this role.
Willing to travel approximately 40% annually is required
Ability to command respect through initiative, leadership, and technical competence.
Business acumen, including strong financial skills and the ability to understand the bottom line impact of operations is required.
