Tax Manager - Corporate - Tampa

Responsibilities:
Maximize after tax profits by helping to structure operating initiatives.
Minimize Subpart F income by restructuring foreign activities.
Become the Tax Department representative for one or more business units
Assist with analysis and advice for mergers and acquisitions.
Responsible for financial and legal analysis of cash utilization strategies and foreign tax minimization.
Treasury support for all international inter-company cash transfers. Maintain supporting documentation and explanation of all major transactions
Tax Compliance/Financial Reporting
Review foreign tax returns and coordinate with local tax advisors.
Maintain a current foreign tax calendar.
Coordinate closely with Tax Compliance group to ensure proper U.S. tax reporting.
FAS 109 reporting.
Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements.
Responsible for Corporate tax governance for all holding company structures.
Tax Audits
Help manage foreign tax audits and coordinate with local tax advisors.
Assist with international issues of U.S. income tax audits by providing tax research and helping to defend company transactions that are challenged.
Tax Administration
Develop annual goals and review progress regularly with the VP of Tax and the Director of Tax.
Help manage tax consultants and control fees.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
CPA, Masters in Tax -- JD, LLM (preferred)
5 to 8 years related work experience
