At American Residential, our purpose is clear - - to provide our residents with a better place to live.We are currently seeking Maintenance Technician forone of our Moline, IL properties.The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, refurbishment and preventative maintenance of company owned rental homes, including light electrical repairs, routine plumbing activities, basic carpentry work as well as upkeep of community grounds. Other responsibilities include:Lawn and common area maintenance, such as watering, weeding, mowing, and maintaining the sprinkler system.Responds to resident work order requests.Monitors appearance and upkeep of community and homes on a continual basis.Adheres to ARC and government safety requirements.Requirements:Ideal candidate has previous maintenance experience in related field.Ability to lift up to 50 poundsKnowledge and experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping and heating / cooling systems preferred.Strong problem solving skills.Excellent customer service skills.Knowledge of work-safety issues, regulations and programs, government and utility ordinances preferred.Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work weekends.Requires Valid Drivers’ License.Compensation & Benefits:American Residential offers a competitive compensation program including a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision insurance, optional life insurance, 401k with matching and immediate vesting, vacation, sick, personal days and 8 paid holidays per year.
