Participates in the development of plans for product promotion in support of marketing objectives. Prepares materials for internal and external presentations on products, business plans and management communications. May serve as editor for formal business communications. Responsibilities Principle duties and responsibilities: Coordinates with GHX US Marketing department to develop and implement promotional campaigns, website enhancements, and other marketing activities, as needed. Works closely with Sales Account Managers to increase operational effectiveness. Manages RFP opportunities and execution. Obtains and tracks competitive activities and profiles. Manages, coordinates and executes Canadian press releases. Manages and utilizes Canadian communications distribution list for greater market awareness. Coordinates Accounts Payable processes with the US (expense reports, etc.) Provides operational assistance to Sales Account Management, as needed. May include basic account management duties such as Trading Partner set-ups, registrations, boardings, etc. Minimum Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related discipline, or a combination of education and related experience. 2 years’ experience in marketing communications, or related work experience. Preferred qualifications: Healthcare and/or supply chain industry experience preferred. Required Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while meeting quality standards and on-time delivery. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Well-developed organizational skills with attention to detail. Able to develop and maintain strong cross-border relationships with US marketing team. Able to demonstrate ability to provide critical thinking and problem solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint . Preferred Skills: Bi-lingual in English and French highly desired.
